Task
The task lights are a practical choice for installing at entrance points to front porches, sheds, garages, etc. They give a useful amount of illumination to make it that much easier to enter and leave a property. One of the most attractive styles to install above the front door is the lantern wall light which has a very inviting and stylish look. Also, the flush fitting wall lights give similar illumination, but are more cost-effective and great for installing above the back or side doors.

Accent lights are the best option to add a touch of drama and atmosphere to the garden. They are a nice way to highlight a water feature, sculpture, pond, certain plants or other focal points outside. A single accent light placed under foliage or near a favorite feature gives a focused and intense beam, while a light placed either side of the feature creates the more flattering and soft effect.
Security
The dedicated security light is a high visibility and cost-effective deterrent to the would-be intruder. They are useful to install on the main property, outbuildings and boundary walls. Most of these lights are motion or heat activated to instantly light up the area that has attracted undesirable attention.
Plus, the lights are designed with a stand-alone detector or a built-in PIR detector. The placement of security light is critical to avoid tampering. Ideally, the light should be placed at least two meters from ground level. Also, a manual override feature is a practical feature for those that occasionally want the constant source of illumination.
